It is now promptly 2:29 AM the night/morning before we're driving my sister to Orlando. I just got a call from my father and it's NEVER good when family calls you at this hour. My granny fell, hit her head on some piece of furniture, and they had to call the rescue because there was too much bleeding and she was a bit shaken up. They also need a scan to make sure everything on the inside is intact. My father will probably spend the night in the emergency room with her, we'll go first thing in the morning, and my sister's move well... will probably happen Sunday instead.
Of course the moving truck is already paid for so we'll have to pick it up anyway or they'll give it to the next one in line and still charge me for it. Apparently, college kids everywhere are road-tripping this weekend and rentals are rather scarce. And really, who cares about this right now.
Alas... I hope granny is okay. She's ninety-two for goodness sake and was just twirling around and dancing on her birthday. Think good thoughts for her. My father sounded so worried but what can I do? They live rather far from us and it's probably not wise for me to drive now after taking a sleeping pill - ugh! I'll set the alarm for a couple of hours and call them. I'm drifting off now and I don't want to... good night.

Granny is 92?? And sounds so full of energy...
Hi Pesto:) Granny is amazing. I can only hope I get to that age just like her! She's doing okay this morning. It was a REALLY bad fall that required way too many stitches, but she just got home and it's in bed resting.
Hope everything works out with the move and all! I know it is a lot of work and tries everyone's patience. Sounds like Granny took a mean spill. Hope she is alright, and on the road to recovery.
Thanks for the good wishes Papa Shane:) I hope it all works out as well...
