I have cooties. Not just your average cooties. I mean top-of-the-line, hairy monster, clog-your-nose, kill-your-head, scratch-your-throat, hurt-you-everywhere cooties. The fever is back tonight and I think I should go see a doctor. My daddy is going to get off work tomorrow an hour early to take me... he's such a sweetie.
Let’s hope I wake up feeling a bit better. The past few days have been pretty awful and I promise never to take my health for granted again. Did I ever? I don’t know… I just want to stop coughing and to stop hurting. The GRE is Saturday and I can’t even focus long enough to read a few pages. I can't stare at the computer anymore.

i had the flu this year for the first time in a decade and it really took its toll on me. I am still getting full health back after going through it. I needed to be in bed, for days, but ahhh the delights of single motherhood and young children LOL.
I really feel for you, it is not at all fun....if I lived near you I would be delivering you cold curing foods, checking in on you, fluffing pillows, reading to you, whatever you needed. Since I am not near, all I can do is keep you in my thoughts and send good energy for a speedy recovery.
Take it easy, when you are sick....you are sick there is not a whole lot you can do, so be zen honey, go with the flow :) it will pass, that I can promise you.

I broke down and got a shot Friday! I usually wallow in my own misery but this time I niped it in the bud!! After about four days I can finally breathe without coughing up a lung. Hope you get better soon!! Sending you a big air hug!! :)
Sorry to hear that, Miss Sniffyliscious. Sandy's been hit hard with something too, guess there must be lots of bad viral chi or something going around. The sucky thing about being 6 foot tall is there's that much more of you to ache. Hope you're better before the GRE.

I feel your pain girl. Oddly enough, I went to see my dr. Mon when I didn't actually feel too bad just extremely painful sinuses. He gave me meds and the next morning I woke up really off balance (my normal state of being) and an unbelievably sore throat. It's getting better though ... drugs help. hee hee. We're going out of town this weekend for our Thanksgiving ... but I should be ok by then.

Oh Ms. Cindy....goodness girl. Rest up, drink lots and lots of fluid, and try to feel better. A friend of mine has offered an "old hispanic remedy" involving a raw egg. Apparently, it's some type of ceremony and the egg yolk turns blood red and you feel better.
Okay....reading that, it just sounds scary. Perhaps just meds and the doctor would help you more.
