Wow, first a dry spell then a flood! So good to have you 'back' sweetie (not that you ever left). lol

This may or may not be completely irrelevant, but it occurred to me this morning that it's ok to want to look great. I spent so many years hiding because of my weight. Now that I'm looking better and feeling better about myself, I've spent more time and effort (and yes, money) on myself. I was starting to feel a little guilty about it ... but we shouldn't. There's nothing wrong with looking great and feeling great as long as you have a good heart (which you obviously do) and a clean soul (which you certainly do).

Thanks Sandy! And I'm so happy you had that revelation!!! I wrote about embracing my femininity not too long ago because I always equated being "girlie" to being silly and not focusing on the "important" things in life. But being a woman is wonderful! And walking around feeling fabulous about your hair and make-up is even better. It's okay to want to look nice and it's okay to work at it. I grew up in jeans and sneakers and it's not till NOW that I realize I love skirts and purses and funky nail polish and oh my goodness expensive sparkling eye shadows are hard to resist:) So I'm girlie... 'sol good!
